16 July 2009 Signups Closed Thursday 16 July 2009 - 3.00pm Signups are once again limited to invite only. I simply don't have the time right now to give the Journals the upgrades it deserves. Once my research project is complete, though, I will rewrite the Journals! (And this time it'll include half a pony!) If you'd like a Journal on this site, please drop me an e-mail and I'll send you an invitation code. Mood: None entered Read Thoughts (1) - # 26 June 2007 Final Changes Tuesday 26 June 2007 - 11.16pm Here's the final set of changes to the Journals; for more information, check out journals beta features. You can now change the location of a page in the Page Editor The social networking sites you enter into Your Profile will now display in your FOAF file. Updated many of the editor pages to the new style, and added some new functionality to a lot of them When you Signup you will now get a prettier e-mail Fixed quite a few bugs, including (hopefully) automatic login Once again, I expect there will be a few minor problems around, but just let me know about them and I'll fix them right away Music: No Doubt – Bathwater Mood: None entered Read Thoughts (10) - # 15 June 2007 Changes pt 2 Friday 15 June 2007 - 1.56am Lots more changes, and I don't think I'm exhausted yet! By default, entries will stop accepting new thoughts after 3 months. This can be changed in your options and disabled in individual entries. Made server passwords and automatic login more secure. Existing auto-logins will no longer function & you will have to login again. Finally, you can upload images directly from the "Insert Image" link in writing new entries, without having to go through the rubbish of Image Editor > Refresh > etc... New image thumbnails are now centered, instead of squished - they look much better. If you set up your last.fm account in your profile, while writing an entry, your current music track should update automagically. (Buggy) Started a rewrite of some of the pages - for a sneak peak, look at the beautiful new signup page and how it works. Layouts now default to the newer "Relaxed Style". If your journal has suddenly grown borders, or the layout is all broken, follow these steps. There were dozens of other small changes not worth mentioning, that will eventually go onto journals beta features. These are some really major changes, so I'm expecting a few problems while the site settles down... please let me know if you find anything odd!
