Yesterday was a really slack day. I knitted for most of the day and did endless washing for Pat and Daniel (neither of whom were home). I really wanted to finish one of the baby jumpers I am working on but I have come to the conclusion that that is virtually impossible, too much knitting to go still.
Dan didnt come home Fri night and didnt text and I didnt hear from him until 24 hours had passed since he last contacted us. I was a bit pissed. Not that I mind him going out at all (and not even for that amount of time), but I like to know where he is going and I like a text in the morning so I know he is still alive. Then he did something else to annoy me so he was given the job of walking the dog lol.
Ryan made me scalloped potatoes last night. I love that he tries to do things like that for me coz it is very difficult for him. Turned out superbly btw! He was really getting into using my vegie slicer thingie and asked me "Why didnt you buy one of these AGES ago!?" So that bodes well. I must admit it is a lot of fun to use and makes things so easy lol.
We've been watching a heap of movies this weekend. Of what we've seen, I've enjoyed 'You only live twice' the most though I also liked 'The bourne identity'. Some were so bad I cleaned the lounge instead of watching them lol.
Dan went to a party last night. He was told BEFORE HE LEFT that the chain and alarm were going on at 1am when we were going to bed and he rang me to beg me to leave it off. Umm NO FUCKING WAY coz the last time Alf fell asleep without alarming the house, they got burgled (before I moved here). If you had met Ryan's mother then you'd know that life just would not be worth living if you pissed her off that much lol. So I told Dan he had two choices...get his arse home by 1:20am or stay at one of his friends' for the night. "Ok Aunty, well throw a blanket in the back yard and I'll jump the fence and sleep there" I DONT FUCKING THINK SO!
So he came home and was semi drunk and semi stoned but ok enough to make himself something to eat. Then he passed out in the lounge. I had to wake him up for bed and for some reason he was waaaaay more out of it. He was trying to tell me something but it wasnt even coming out in English words lol. Three times he tried to sit down and sleep as I walked him to his room, still trying to talk to me (may as well have been speaking russian for all I understood lol). Then he managed to say he wanted to 'sort his shit' and pointed back to the kitchen (that he had left a mess but I wasnt too worried). I told Dan "there isnt anything out there" and then he goes "Oh can I go to bed then?" (which is where we'd been heading the whole time) "Yes dan, your room is down this hallway" and start walking him down it. He tried to sleep on Flynn's beanbag bed and I had to yank him to his feet where he asked if he could go to bed again? OMG lol. Managed to get him in bed finally but then I was paranoid and had to go check he was ok a couple of hours later and first thing I did this morning was check he was ok. I plan on doing everything as LOUDLY as I can today lol. I'm all good with him staying out and partying with his friends but he knows the rules of this house and if he wants me to play mummy for another whole year then he better get his shit together. Well I shall shut up coz I have nothing interesting to report!
