OMFG PIMS!!!
Saturday 21 June 2008 - 10.00pm
OMG since downloading Firefox 3 PIMS hasn't been working for me! ARRRRGGG!! I want to see how misrabley I failed my exams!!

I think me and my younger brother Peter have finally gotten to an adult relationship, you know how when you're younger you won't be seen dead with your siblings etc etc. Well me and Peter were always like that but now I think things have mellowed out. I think it's just age. There is 3 1/2 years between us so when I was finishing my teenage years he had just begun and yeah. He turned 17 on June 12 so I hope I can look foreward to a good relationship with my younger brother when we are adults. Well, I'm an adult now but he's not ahaha. You know what I mean. The rest of my brothers I will always be their (way older) sister.

On a side note. I think I will go back to doing karate (thats a link to the style I do - goju ryu) now that my ankle has mostly healed. I still have issues with plantarflexion (pointing toes) and I can't run very well but I need to get fit and karate was fun. However it is embrassing when you have to buy a kids karate gi >< Keely remarked tonight about how tiny I was. I don't think people actually realise that yes, I'm about the size of you're average 12 year old. Stupid height, if there was plastic surgery to make me taller I would be there in a jiffy!

I want a new laptop. One that has built in wireless, is faster and heaps lighter. And I want want this rather nifty bag to carry it around in. But that does mean a)more money that I don't have and b)reinstalling everything. I mean I have flash, dreamweaver, photoshop 8 etc etc on my little lappy.

Eugh yet another open home tommrrow morning so I'm going to stay awake and then go to bed once everyone has fucked off. I hate having to tidy, I mean our flat has been spotless for the past month and I just want to let my hair down and let our flat be normal again! it dosnt feel lived in when it's freakishly clean. Especially in the lounge (which just so happens to be where I hang out in my chair with my duvet watching tv, reading, internet etc etc) I can't wait till this house is friggin sold so I don't have people looking in at my room anymore.

testament to friendship
Monday 16 June 2008 - 2.00am
It's odd, Gema and I have never been geographically close for any great amount of time but she is my best friend. I know exactly what she is doing right now (thanks to her "sharing is caring" motto) and I'm not grossed out. At all. And I know that afterwards she's coming back online to talk to me. I fucking love her. I think I finally feel loved by someone, someone who may actually love me as much as I love them. *bursts into tears* ugh feeling ultra emotional recently.

I have'nt got that long at Uni it's really strange in some ways it feels like I've just started and in other ways it dosn't. I don't think anyone mangaed to fill my head with any new information all they've managed to do is make me stress. I got a letter from my great aunt and that made me happy. I miss my family so much. At least this year I'm not going to be spending Christmas Day alone.

I have been drawing a lot of pictures of St Mary and her Immaculate heart and I've just finished a couple tonight of Jesus and his Sacred heart. I will hopefully be scanning them tommrrow where they will then appear on my deviantart account.

HALLELUJAH!
Friday 13 June 2008 - 5.32pm
I'm glad thats over! Yay no more Science exams for me! Now I'm on holiday with absolutely nothing to look foreward to. Not even Mariken is here - shes gone to Christchurch to see her girlfriend *rolls eyes*

My physics exam gave me a friggin headache *holds head in pain* at least it wasnt as painfull as my chemistry exam *shudders* I have to have got at least 1 right. I don't think it's fair that plussage applies to our Physics exam because in the terms test there was only 3 units examined, - Mechanics, Bulk Materials and Thermodynamics. In the finals we had those 3 + Electricty and DC circuts and Radiation and Health.

Debbie lent me a whole stack of dvds from her collection so I'm going to get started on those. I watched Transformers, V for Vendetta, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoniex and 300 yesterday and I've still go another 9-10 to go. I'm glad I decided to watch them downstairs in my room because watching movies with Debbie is annoying because she's normally seen it before and picks the movie apart. Stupid film and media studies major >_< I'm really glad she didn't want to watch Schindlers List with Keely, Cam and I.

DONT ask
Wednesday 11 June 2008 - 6.33pm
about my chemistry exam. Just lets pretend that it never happend. If I hear chemistry mentioned in the next... oh 100 or so years I'm going to cry. Having 2hrs sleep before hand is not cool but I just can't sleep I can sit in bed at 11pm (normal time for most people to be in bed isn't it?) and be wide awake. I don't know whats wrong with me but it's annoying the shit out of me. If I go to egg land next week so that I can get the money to fix my car then that means 5am mornings again and coming home between 3-6pm and I'm not a happy person when I'm tired. Not at all.

Friggin hate chemistry.

Also I'm going to be taking a look at the proto-college of St Kessog a branch of the society of creative anacronism. Looks fun!

Otago or Victoria?
Tuesday 10 June 2008 - 9.20pm
Gema fully thinks that I should go to Victoria next year and complete my Bachelor of Commerce there (except at Victoria they call it a Bacehlor of Commerce and Administration) she says that it's a better degree and that there is the social factor for me. I think she's worried about me not having the support systems I need. I mean sure I've had quite a few down times some really bad especially when I first came down and after she left but I'm still here. However, my ex goes to Vic doing accounting and she's someone I don't really want to see.

However I like Otago and my life is here but she is sort of right. The support will help my family are a tight knit bunch and I miss them heaps and I know they miss me. I especially miss my younger brothers Joshua and Isaac who are 5 and 6 respectively.

Also the price of travelling is not going to get any cheaper any time soon so visiting is proberly only going to be cut to the summer.

All stuff to consdier. Do you people out there in journal land have any thoughts/views?

If I do switch Universities it does mean asking my Grandparents if it's still okay if I can stay with them in Parapararumu no board though and they live really closely to coastlands so I could find a job there and still get the allowance and use that to pay for the train. I like trains. So much better than buses.

again with the cheese!!
Monday 9 June 2008 - 11.00am
Stupid cheese questions in the exam. At least we weren't asked to name a type used in the process like last year.

2 more exams to go - unforuntely my most least favourite subjects.

Going home to nap (as I didn't get to sleep till 4am. I think I may need to actually be in bed an hour before I need to be asleep by) and then to study for chemistry.

Oh yeah! Having an exam in Quad 4 was no fun! I was almost sitting on top of the person next to me and the lecture theature was that old that the desk was slanted so my papers kept sliding down (most annoying thing ever) and had wells for ink that they used to use. Although I did admire the arcitechture (again spell checker Mr Jevon!!) it looked almost Tudor-like with the banisters but I think it's actually Edwardian or maybe late Victorian.

I'm thinking that I might drive home this summer. Sure my cars warrent is 6 months over due but if I can get some work I can get it looked at and fixed etc and hopefully I can get a part time job this semester and I'll save for the HORRENDOUS amount of money it's going to cost me. But it also means that I could rideshare and split petrol costs with people either going to Christchurch or going as far as Wellington/Palmerston North. Also means I can bring ALL my stuff with me because I wouldn't need to pay rent till the lease runs out or storage fees. Maybe mum can come down with me on the return journy. Nice to also have my own car instead of begging mum/dad to drive theirs.

HUBS
Sunday 8 June 2008 - 9.00pm
My HUBS exam was okay (okay= hoping to pass, great=hoping to get a B and excellent= hoping to get an A) there was a few questions that threw me such as describe the structure and function of 4 antibodies (FOUR!!!) I think I manged to do one but I forgot it's name (I guessed IgM) and I drew the structure of the pentamere one (forgot it's name) I gussed its function was to bind to many anitgens at once. Now the last question had me completely stumpted. "Compare the 2 pathways of the efferent autonomic nervous system" I was like - wtf!? because and efferent pathway is going away from the CNS to the effectors and autonomic means you don't have any control over it. I think the question was asking about sympathetic and parasymthetic and all I wrote was sympathetic=resposiable for flight or fight response and parasympathetic=responsiable for rest and digest response. I hoping I get at least 2 marks for that haha. Stupid ass long 3hr exam I was done in just under 2.

Was fun walking home at 6am this morning because it friggin snowed didn't it and the footpath froze making for a very interesting walk!

CELS exam tommrrow and I'm just finishing the short answer questions from last years exam. They said that lecture on cheese we didn't have to pay much attention to because it was just an example. THEY LIED! Stupid cheese!! >_<

P.S - Jevon needs to make a spell checker.

finalising the plans
Thursday 29 May 2008 - 3.00pm
So Bachelor of Commerce with a major in International Business and minor in Business Law is what I will be starting at the beginning of next semester. And the good news is - no more chemistry and physics EVER! also my not having any background in finance/economics will not be a distadvantage (unlike science where you need NCEA level 3 biology, chemistry, physics, maths in order to cope >_< despite what they tell you)

I'm considering going on exchange to Otaru University of Commerce sometime during my degree.
