Day 2 Tuesday 15 April 2008 - 2.00pm

I didn't sleep very well last night.  It was odd being in our bed all alone.  Also maybe I wasn't used to hearing the rain on the roof.  It is still raining now - beautiful, nourishing rain which the Waikato so badly needs.  I feel like running outside and dancing in it except I don't want to stop any precious drops from reaching the draught ravenged soil ... and I don't fancy spending my two week break with a cold. I realised last night that it was the date that Michael and I moved in together in our house in Palmy.  Time sure flies!  So much has happened in that year.  Fingers crossed there will be many more ahead of us. Day 1 Monday 14 April 2008 - 7.00pm

Day one of my week all by myself has begun; I dropped Michael at the airport at 6.20am this morning so he could fly to Palmerston North for work.  He is scheduled to return on Friday night.  I miss my honeypot already. It's raining gently here at the moment, as it has been all day, the perfect match to my melancholy mood.  It's not all doom and gloom though - I am on holiday for the next two weeks though have plenty of assignments and study to keep me busy.  Music: Tonight we have the stars - Bryan Adams Mood: Sleepy

It's been one helluva awesome week! continued great feedback from my tutors on my news writing stories voted Class Prez Tonight Michael presented me with tickets to Split Enz in Auckland tomorrow night!!!!!!!!!!  Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm currently wearing my Split Enz 20th Anniversary T-Shirt and jiggling with excitement.  Sadly I have a day of assignment writing (Treaty and the Media) to get through tomorrow before we head off to Aucks.
